Workshops

Block Print Workshop Next date TBC
£0.00

This workshop will enable you to create your own block print products

After learning about Laura’s practice and seeing examples and demonstration of the process, you will print onto fabric and create your own printed items.

You can choose from a Canvas tote bag or book bag, make up bag or tea towel to print onto (or all of the above!).

Using Laura’s archive of wooden block stamps you will then print onto your chosen items. All prints will be made in a specialist fabric ink with long lasting wear and great finish. A chance to learn a new technique in a fun and sociable setting!

Mend Patch Transform with Laura Elford

Add to and extend the life of your clothing, learning techniques that not only create strength to your most worn pieces but also create your own visual ID, creating truly personal items.

Book a slot in this embroidery and beading workshop, creating custom patches to add to your own pieces. A huge range of beads and embroidery threads will be available with Laura guiding on making unique patches to take away with you, or add to clothing during the session.

This session is run as part of Sustainable Fashion Week, please follow @sustainablefashionweek_uk and www.asinglethread.org to find out more about other events taking place!
